Meet Akira!

This sweet 5.5-year-old Staffordshire mix, weighing around 60lbs, has a face that melts hearts and a spirit to match. Akira was saved from a euthanasia list with mere minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever family for nearly nine months. We're baffled as to why she hasn't found her perfect match yet, because this girl is pure gold!

Akira is fully crate-trained and knows her basic commands. She's a big love bug who dreams of being your devoted companion, lounging and snuggling with you as if she were a tiny lap dog. You'll often find her snoozing on a comfy bed until it's time for a walk. She's a good listener, follows commands well, and takes treats with the gentlest mouth. To keep herself entertained, she enjoys chewing on bones or playing with her stuffed toys.

Ideal Home

Akira adores people and enjoys the company of calm, submissive dogs. However, her ultimate dream is to be the one and only apple of your eye, so she would also be perfectly content as the sole canine companion in her new home.

Akira is a spayed female. Our veterinarian has provided their best guess on her breed and age.

Akira is crate-trained and knows her basic commands. She is a gentle soul who is eager to please and makes training a joy.

Transporation
