Chip is a sweet, 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix who weighs about 60 lbs. Chip is a playful, curious, and loving boy who is looking for an experienced adopter to give him patience, safety, and endless love. He's a true "velcro dog" who loves to cuddle and be near his people, becoming your shadow everywhere you go. While Chip can be a little cautious when meeting new people, once he trusts you, he'll be your best friend forever! He enjoys sniffing walks, is well-behaved on a leash, and is already crate-trained and potty-trained. Chip also loves being outdoors and has a special talent for rocking any costume!
Ideal Home
Chip has done well with calm, dog-loving foster siblings and would likely do best with similar canine companions who enjoy his playful nature. Slow introductions are recommended for any new doggy friends. He would also be happy as an only dog, as long as he has opportunities for outings. Chip would prefer a home without cats. His ideal humans will understand that he can experience anxiety when left alone, but he's working on his separation anxiety and can be crated. He'd thrive in a home that enjoys his company on adventures like car rides and walks, and where he can decompress and enjoy playtime with his toys. Chip has also done well with older children.
