Eugene

Eugene is a male Shepherd Mix, estimated to be born on May 31, 2024. He was found wandering near a local apartment complex and brought to the shelter. While he was microchipped and his owner was located, they were unable to take him back. Eugene has a boundless amount of energy and absolutely loves to run! He also has a penchant for chewing on fabric items, sometimes even his own collar if he can reach it. He sees open doorways as exciting invitations to explore, so some training would be beneficial for him. The good news is, he already knows how to sit and is a very trainable pup!

Eugene would thrive in a home with a safe and secure yard where he can truly let loose and run. He's looking for a loving family to share his adventures with.

Ongoing Health

Eugene is up-to-date on vaccinations and is microchipped. He has not been spayed or neutered.

Training & Support

Eugene enjoys chewing on fabric items and needs guidance to redirect this behavior. He also needs training to help him understand not to bolt through open doorways. His willingness to learn and his ability to sit are great starting points for his new family!
