Meet Valor, a 4-year-old dog with a truly remarkable spirit. Valor's story is one of immense resilience; he was rescued from a situation of cruelty and endured hardships no animal should ever face. Despite his past trauma, Valor's capacity for love is extraordinary. He craves closeness, enjoys being held, and finds comfort in resting against his favorite people, as if making up for lost time. He chooses connection with humans, demonstrating his trusting nature by walking gently on a leash, not attempting to bolt through doors, and remaining incredibly attuned to his person. Valor is not destructive, does not have accidents in the house, and willingly settles into his kennel. He enjoys toys and is still discovering the joys of being a dog, like learning to catch a ball. He has undergone extensive medical care and rehabilitation, learning to trust and understanding that safety, regular meals, and gentle hands bring comfort.

Ideal Home

Valor needs to be the only pet in the home, as he cannot live with other dogs or cats.

Ongoing Health

Valor is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Valor is incredibly obedient and attuned to his person. He walks gently on a leash and does not dart out doors.

Transporation

Our rescue is based in Houston, Texas, but we work with foster homes across multiple regions. Transport is available to approved adopters for an additional fee.
