His freckles are a whole personality, cute, powerful, and his greatest weapon! Butter Beans is a playful, snuggly, people-loving young guy who greets the world with curiosity and tail wags. He LOVES attention; if you pet him, he will melt into you like warm butter. He enjoys belly rubs, face scritches, and any form of human touch. He's confident meeting new people, loves men, loves women, and basically thinks every human is his personal cheering squad. He is smart, eager, and already shines with training. He goes to social doggy daycare and is a star there. He's crate trained, house trained, rides beautifully in the car, and is the ideal size for scooping into the backseat for an adventure. He LOVES exploring outdoors and will trot around like he's on an official mission, even hopping around like a deer on walks. He's the perfect hiking, exploring, patio relaxing, walking, road-tripping, end-of-day TV time, and snuggles buddy!

Ideal Home

Butter Beans would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can run and play fetch. He loves to go outside at any time to get his puppy zoomies out and then come inside and relax with you. He is not a good fit for a home with cats.

Butter Beans is already crate trained and house trained. He's a socialite with other dogs, confident in his interactions, and loves them. He loves toys and will toss them up in the air and catch them.

Butter Beans is currently located in Texas. Wags facilitates adoptions nationwide using their rescue run USDA certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through a private Facebook event page.
