He is believed to be a pittie mix, approximately 7 months old and currently weighs 33 lbs. Onyx Baby has the sweetest personality, is incredibly dog-friendly, and has a face that will melt your heart. He enjoys following his canine friends around like a little brother and is happy to match their energy, whether it's for playtime or just relaxing. He also showed great respect for the resident cat, Biggie.
Ideal Home
Onyx Baby would thrive in a home with another dog to be his best friend. He would also love a backyard for romping and playing, but he's equally content to be a couch potato for movie marathons. We can test him with children upon request.
Ongoing Health
Onyx Baby is up-to-date on all vetting and has been given his DAPP vaccine with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, is microchipped, and will receive a heartworm preventative injection.
Training & Support
Onyx is a smart boy who knows basic commands like "sit" and is gentle when taking treats. He is crate trained and is mostly potty trained, though he may have occasional accidents if left alone for long periods. He is eager to please, making any additional training a fun bonding experience.

Transporation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Available drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation.
