JJ is a sweet, goofy, and gangly pup who absolutely adores making people happy! While her exact breed mix is a mystery, she sports the body of a German Shepherd, the sweetness of a Pittie, and the face of a Vizsla. She's a red brindle beauty who may have come from New Mexico but has quickly embraced the snowy wonderland, loving to lay in it and chew on sticks. JJ is a quick learner, understanding that outside is for more than just eating sticks and indicating her needs with whines or by seeking attention. She's comfortable in her kennel but truly prefers to be with her people. With a chew toy like a Nylabone or Kong, she'll happily settle down for a nap while you're at work. JJ can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she bestows the sweetest kisses. She's gradually becoming more comfortable with the resident male dog in her foster home and is learning to trust him, appreciating the love, treats, and food he provides. The presence of a confident resident pup has helped her realize that humans are pretty great! JJ loves to play and romp outside, and her enthusiastic zoomies after doing her business are quite hilarious, often followed by proud high-stepping like a horse. She's eager to find her forever family and hopes to someday show another pup the ropes.
