Cheddar

Meet Cheddar, a sweet and smart girl who's ready to show off her newly acquired skills! She recently graduated from our P.A.C.K. Program, a comprehensive 9-week training course focused on obedience, agility, and handling. Cheddar has mastered commands like 'sit', 'down', and 'shake', and she's eager to continue practicing these behaviors in a loving home. While she can be a ball of energy, she also cherishes cuddle time and is a fantastic listener, happy to just sit by your feet. She gets along well with other dogs, particularly calmer companions, and enjoys playing with her favorite rope toy and balls. Cheddar is house-trained and does well in her kennel when left alone. She has also shown to be unbothered by cats in her foster home.

Ideal Home

Cheddar would thrive in a home where her new skills can be consistently reinforced. She enjoys playing with other dogs but does best with calmer canine friends. If the energy gets too high, she appreciates a gentle reminder to "stay cool, calm, and collected."

Ongoing Health

Cheddar is spayed, vaccinated, and appears to be in good health.

Training & Support

Cheddar is a P.A.C.K. Program graduate and will require ongoing reinforcement of her learned behaviors to ensure they become permanent. She is a bit opinionated and will vocalize her feelings, but she is also very responsive to guidance.

Transporation

Cheddar is currently located at Black Dog Animal Rescue in Cheyenne, WY. We can transport her to approved adopters within a 2-hour radius of Cheyenne.
