Wednesday is a 2-year-old Chiweenie, weighing in at about 8 pounds. She was one of six dogs abandoned in a cemetery, and while it was a tough start, Wednesday and her siblings are now safe and looking for loving homes. Wednesday was the most fearful of the group, but her foster parents have worked diligently to help her feel more comfortable. She's a very sweet but timid girl who truly blossoms when she feels safe and connected with her human. Once she warms up, her playful and energetic personality shines through! She loves to engage with her human friends and her canine companions. Wednesday has a unique flair for fashion and a mischievous side; she enjoys "collecting" clothes and shoes from around the house to present to you. She's a wonderful snuggler and thrives on being close to her person. While she's still getting used to busy environments, she walks well on a leash in quieter areas. She'll blossom with a patient and consistent human who can help her continue to gain confidence.
Ideal Home
Wednesday would do best in a home with a fenced yard, where she can explore safely. She's great with older children and would love to have a playful and confident doggy sibling to learn from and romp with.
Ongoing Health
All adoptable dogs are spayed or neutered at 6 months of age or older.
Training & Support
Wednesday is still building her confidence and will need a patient and consistent approach to help her adjust and thrive.
