Charlie (9mo)

My name is Charlie, and I'm a handsome 9-month-old German Shepherd mix looking for my forever family! I was rescued by IDGSR after experiencing a rough start in life, but I'm a smart, resilient, and playful pup who is gaining confidence every day. I dream of going on walks, enjoying pup-cups, running in a safe yard, and becoming your most loyal companion.

Ideal Home

I would do well with children aged 6 and up. I'm also friendly with cats and other large dogs. I dream of a home where I can have a safe yard to run in.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, and monthly preventatives. I have also been neutered.

Training & Support

I am still learning and need full obedience training to ensure I'm the bestest boy I can be. I'm doing great with house and crate training, but please be patient with me as I might have an accident or two. Positive reinforcement with treats like hot dogs or cheese works wonders with me!

• All dogs are fostered in Tennessee unless otherwise noted.
• An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog.
• Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters by appointment only.
• First priority will be given to those with submitted applications due to the high volume of inquiries.

Transportation

I am currently being fostered in Tennessee, near Nashville. Transport to the east coast is available for an additional fee.
