Meet Brownie, a sweet and handsome Border Collie who's ready for his fresh start! This approximately 2-year-old boy, weighing around 35 pounds, was sadly found abandoned at a local farmers market. Despite this tough beginning, Brownie's spirit remains bright, and he adores people. He's crate trained, house trained, and has shown he gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children. Brownie is a smart cookie, eager to please and learning his basic commands, making him a great candidate for continued training. He's looking for a loving and stable forever home where he can share his endless affection.
Ideal Home
Brownie would thrive in a home that can provide him with love, stability, and continued training.
Ongoing Health
Brownie has been neutered and is currently undergoing slow-kill heartworm treatment. He has completed his initial doxycycline course and received his ProHeart 12 injection. To continue his treatment, he will need to remain on Advantage Multi or NexGard PLUS. We will provide the first six months of prevention to help him stay on track.
Training & Support
Brownie is learning his basic commands and is eager to please. As with most Border Collies, he is intelligent and attentive, and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training.
