RITCHEY ROO (aka Richard)

Ritchey Roo, affectionately known as Richard, is an estimated 5-6 year old, 90 lb bundle of joy! He's a wonderfully unique boy who can be both exuberantly energetic and blissfully laid-back, making him a truly special companion. Richard absolutely adores people and thrives on being in your presence, whether that's lounging on the couch or exploring the great outdoors. He's house-trained and comfortable being left alone, making him a great addition to a home.

Ideal Home

Richard would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can safely enjoy some zoomies. He's looking for a home where he can be the only spoiled pup, as he's not known to be good with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Richard came to us underweight and has since gained to a healthy 90 lbs. He could benefit from a diet and/or increased physical activity to reach his ideal weight.

Training & Support

Richard can be a bit of a jumper and overly excited, especially when food or the leash is involved, so he could benefit from continued training in managing his enthusiasm. He's also a strong puller on the leash, so leash training will be important. He has learned the "OVER" command to create personal space on the bed, which is a great testament to his willingness to learn! Richard isn't particularly interested in toys or playing fetch, but he enjoys car rides and walks.
