Meet Hachi!

Hachi is a resilient and loving dog with a heart of gold. After spending most of his life in an outdoor kennel, rescued from a hoarding situation, he's now ready to experience the warmth and love of a forever home. Despite his past, Hachi remains a total love bug with a gentle spirit and an infectious wagging tail. He adores people, is wonderful with children, and greets everyone with an open heart. Things like belly rubs and a cozy bed are treasures to Hachi, as he never even had a dog bed before his rescue. He's crate trained, potty trained, and eager to settle down. Hachi is about 2 years old and weighs around 50 lbs, still working on gaining weight to reach his ideal of 60 lbs. He's a medium-energy companion, always up for an adventure but equally happy to relax by your side.

Ideal Home

Hachi thrives in a home where he is included and cherished. While he does best with slow introductions to other dogs and tends to do better with confident pups, he is adaptable.

Ongoing Health

Hachi is still working on gaining weight to reach his ideal healthy weight of around 60 lbs.

Training & Support

Hachi is crate trained and potty trained. He does best with slow introductions to other dogs and can sometimes try to be the "big tough guy" with more timid dogs.
