Pugsley PC

Happy Taco Tootsday! My name is Pugsley PC, and I'm a one-year-old Lab/German Shepherd mix with a beautiful yellow, white, and cream coat. I'm still learning what it's like to be a dog in a loving home, as I had a scary upbringing. Because of that, I'm a bit timid and can be startled by loud noises and fast movements. But don't worry, I'm making great progress in my foster home and learning that things can be wonderful with a supportive family! I absolutely love treats and enjoy spending quality time with humans and other pets. My foster mom says I'm the best boy, even though I sometimes think I'm a lap dog (my size gauge is a smidge off!).

Ideal Home

A patient and gentle home where kids will be mindful of my timid nature and avoid fast movements. I get along wonderfully with children and other dogs, but I'm not a good fit for a home with cats. Since I'm not comfortable with cars, a home where I don't need to travel frequently would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

I'm neutered and up-to-date on my vaccinations. I'm generally healthy and my foster family is working with me on my timidity.

Training & Support

I'm crate-trained and potty-trained. I have had some leash experience and enjoy sniffing my surroundings, but I do get excited and need a bit more practice walking calmly. Gentle guidance and positive reinforcement will help me continue to build my confidence.
