Zena

Zena is a happy lady who would love to join your family! She's a sweet, loving, and loyal companion looking for her forever home. Zena can be a little shy when meeting strangers, but with some gentle pacing and time to approach on her own terms, her affectionate side shines. She loves other dogs, and having a canine sibling helps her feel more confident. Zena will happily sleep in with you on the weekends, but she is always down for a long hike, a 'sniffy walk,' or a serious run! She thoroughly enjoys cooling off in creeks during her runs and plays in her kiddy pool regularly. She is treat-motivated and easy to train, already knowing sit, down, paw, and spin.

Ideal Home

Zena prefers a calm, quiet life. Bustling cities, loud noises, and younger kids are a bit too overwhelming for her. She is currently thriving in a quiet suburban foster home! While she has lived with cats, she would probably do best in a home without them.

Ongoing Health

Zena is up-to-date on routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.

Training & Support

Zena has done great with potty training and crate training. Her foster trusts her to free-roam in the bedroom while gone, and at night, she likes to choose between her open crate and your bed. She is very easy to train due to her treat motivation.
