Brook

Meet Brook! She's a 2-year-old yellow lab mix who initially came to us as a surrender, feeling quite nervous and fearful. However, she's blossomed beautifully and shown us her wonderful personality! Brook can be a little shy around new people and may be a bit wary of men. She's also shown some reactivity towards other dogs, so she might be happiest as the only canine in the household. We're not sure about her history with children, but we think she might do well with older kids and teenagers.

Ideal Home

Brook would thrive in a home where she can feel safe and secure. Given her nervousness around new people and potential fear of men, a patient and understanding family will be key to her continued success. We also believe she would do best as the only dog in the home due to her reactivity. While we're unsure of her past with children, we feel she'd be a good fit for households with older children and teenagers.

Brook is spayed and fully vaccinated, and is all set for her new life!

Training & Support

Great news! Brook is already house and crate trained and knows basic commands. Our K9 staff has been diligently working on her leash manners, and she's a very receptive learner. With continued positive reinforcement and patient guidance, she'll surely continue to make strides.
