Poppy

Poppy is a sweet and affectionate 4-month-old female Jack Russell Terrier mix who is looking for her forever home. She comes from an unwanted litter in Memphis and, though her exact breed mix is a mystery with likely 10-12 different breeds, she has the look of a JRT with a less hyperactive demeanor. Poppy's mom is a 30-pound mix, and Poppy herself has a slightly curly tail! She has lived her whole life with her original family, awaiting her perfect match. While she can be a little hesitant with new people and situations due to limited socialization outside her home, she warms up quickly. Poppy has grown up around children and other dogs and, with her mild temperament, she is recommended for a home with children aged 6 and older. She has not been tested with cats. Poppy is already working on crate training, housebreaking, and leash walking. She is healthy, altered, and up-to-date on her shots, weighing around 18 pounds. This adorable puppy with a loving nature is sure to make a wonderful companion for an active family.
