About Bear

Bear is a sweet and handsome boy who was surrendered due to his owner's health. It's clear he was so loved! He's about 4.5 years old, weighs over 100 pounds, and knows commands like sit, come, and heel. He's also a good listener and knows "stay" when he feels like it! Bear is good on the leash, loves playing ball, is very friendly, and would make a great family dog. He does best with female dogs and is also fine being the only dog in a home.

Ideal Home

Bear is a friendly and great family dog who would be happy in a home as the only dog or with female dogs.

Ongoing Health

Bear is up-to-date on vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. He will receive a health exam and certificate from a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Training & Support

Bear knows several commands and is good on the leash. He is described as a good listener, though he may decide when he feels like obeying!
