Miley

Miley is a beautiful young female Black and Tan Coonhound who came to us as a stray. She was found after living on the streets for weeks, and after some patient efforts to trap her, she approached some children at a local park. Soon after arriving with us, we discovered she was pregnant and she has since given birth to 7 healthy hound babies! Miley is a bit leery when meeting new people, and she does have that distinctive coonhound howl. She's a true hound, which means she can be stubborn and absolutely adores food! She enjoys playing with other dogs, but is not a fan of cats. Miley loves to cuddle on blankets and play with her toys. She has truly captured our hearts, and while she is not a trained hunting dog, we are looking for her to be a cherished family member.

Ideal Home

Miley would thrive in a home with a very secure, fenced-in yard. She needs an adopter who understands her hound nature and will be patient as she gets to know them.

Ongoing Health

Miley is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

As a hound, Miley can be stubborn and is very food motivated. She is looking for a family who will welcome her as a companion, not a hunting dog.
