Meet Polly, a delightful 38lb Cattle Dog Retriever mix who embodies the spirit of a playful puppy with the sweetest disposition. She's spayed, vaccinated, and up-to-date on all preventatives, making her ready for her forever home. Polly has a gentle, go-with-the-flow nature and loves being a part of her people's activities.

Polly is a forever puppy at heart! She adores toys, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has a bouncy, happy energy for fun. She's always happy to join in if another dog wants to play. She has also been around children aged 6 and up and has done well with them. We have no history with cats.

While Polly enjoys playtime, she's generally a low-energy girl. She's just as content to relax and cuddle as she is to play with a toy. She's affectionate, snuggly, and loves being close to her people. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly once she feels safe.

Polly has great house manners and is house-trained and crate-trained for up to six hours. She travels well in the car and has no issues with resource guarding or food aggression. She is currently working on her leash manners and may pull sometimes, but she's easy to manage while she continues to learn.

Like many young dogs, Polly is still learning the rules of home life and will need a patient adopter willing to continue guiding her. She should be crated when unsupervised as she can sometimes get into things if left loose. With consistency and routine, she will continue to blossom.
