Winona

Winona is a sweet soul who is eager to bond with her person and be by their side for all of life's adventures! She was rescued from a neglectful shelter in Texas that was shut down for animal cruelty. From there, she ended up in a neighboring shelter facing euthanasia, and that's where we stepped in. Despite her tough start, Winona is safe and ready for a fresh beginning. She's learning to trust and open up, and with a little patience, she'll blossom into a wonderful family companion.

Ideal Home

Winona would love a home where she can continue to learn and grow. She gets along well with other dogs, but it's important to introduce them slowly and in a controlled manner so she feels safe. A home that can provide her with a gentle and understanding environment will help her thrive.

Ongoing Health

Winona is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is in good health and ready for her new life.

Training & Support

Winona is still learning to navigate the world, and a patient and loving approach will be key to her success. While she gets along with other dogs, she can be a bit snappy or defensive if introductions are too fast. She is, however, quickly learning that other dogs can be friends and that playing isn't scary. With consistent support, she'll continue to gain confidence.
