You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet JoyJoy, and companion, SKY, came to PRBJ from a partnering rescue group in Puerto Rico. Since these sweet pups were found on their own living in the streets no one knows what they have experienced. They were living in a foster home in PR for a short time before they took their flight to FL. So being with humans caring for them is newer and Joy still is nervous when meeting people or being in new situations. She will need a patient owner to help her feel safe. We believe she would do well in a home with another confident dog to show her the ropes and help her understand what it is like to be part of a family. Joy does seem to be more outgoing when she has her sister or another friendly pup to hang out with and play. She is more comfortable around women vs men. She does seem to like children although she does not really respond well to the loud sounds like screaming and yelling.
