WallE is a 6-year-old Neutered male lab/boxer mix who weighs 118 lbs. He was rescued from an owner who passed away and found himself in a hoarding environment. WallE is a gentle soul who is looking for his second chance at a happy life. He is intelligent, observant, and eager to connect with his people once he trusts them. He responds well to calm, consistent leadership and is ready to blossom into a loyal and devoted companion.
Ideal Home
WallE would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home that can offer patience, structure, and understanding. He would likely do best as the only dog in the home to continue building his confidence and focus on bonding with his people.
Ongoing Health
WallE is currently on a healthy weight-loss journey due to being significantly overweight from lack of exercise in his previous life. He is enjoying slow, steady walks on leash and making progress every day. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
Training & Support
WallE is house-trained and crate-trained and views his crate as a safe, comforting space. He is learning new routines and building trust with the support of his foster family and a professional trainer. His trainer is committed to helping his adopter succeed and will support WallE’s initial transition to a new home either by phone or in person for adopters in our local area.
