Newman is a handsome 10-month-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a weight of 33 pounds. He has striking coat markings and a charming little snort that will melt your heart. Newman is a thoughtful young explorer who is still building his confidence. He's gentle, curious, and eager to learn, making him a joy to be around as he discovers the world at his own pace.

Ideal Home

Newman pulls mildly on leash, but this can become moderate at times as he explores new sights and smells. He would thrive in a home that allows him plenty of sniffing adventures. While he may do well with appropriately matched dogs, he might be happiest as a solo pet with patient adopters who can support his continued growth and confidence-building journey.

Ongoing Health

Newman is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Newman is highly treat-motivated and takes treats gently, which bodes well for his training. He's already mastered "touch" and happily follows treat lures. He is still learning "sit." Newman is quietly affectionate and prefers to stay close to his person, gradually becoming more comfortable with pets as trust develops.
