Zambie Wigglebutt

This adorable 3.5-month-old German Shepherd mix, Zambie, might be a bit shy at first, but she's a total cuddle bug once she warms up! She loves to be close to her people and is happiest snuggled up, soaking in all the love. With her striking black and tan coat and soulful eyes, Zambie is sure to capture your heart. She enjoys playtime with her siblings but is also content to nap afterward. Zambie is doing wonderfully with a structured routine, which includes scheduled feeding, playtime, and kennel time. She's an excellent sleeper, both at night and during the day. She has been exposed to children and does great with them, as well as with the adults and adult German Shepherd in her foster home. Zambie enjoys being part of a pack and has adapted well to living with other dogs. She calms down beautifully when listening to classical music, which brings out her gentle nature.

Ongoing Health

Zambie is up to date on all her vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She will also receive a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable.

Training & Support

Zambie is making great progress with crate and potty training and continues to thrive with consistency and routine. She is learning important puppy skills and gaining confidence daily. Like all puppies, she will need ongoing training and support to ensure she grows into a well-adjusted adult dog.

Transporation

Zambie is currently in Texas. Transport is available nationwide through our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
