Oscar

Oscar is a sweet young Labrador mix with a big heart and a joyful spirit. He is approximately 1 year old and weighs 32 lbs. Oscar is very social with children, men, and women, and he builds trust almost instantly with everyone he meets. He loves being around people and enjoys spending time with other dogs. Playtime is one of his favorite things, and his friendly personality makes him an easy dog to fall in love with. Oscar has a small neurological tic due to distemper, noticeable when he is resting, but it does not affect his happy life or his loving nature.

Ideal Home

Oscar would thrive in an active family that enjoys outdoor activities and has a fenced backyard. He needs a home with owners who have experience in dog behavior and training, or are willing to hire a trainer. Patience and high tolerance are crucial for this intelligent dog who is not house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Oscar has a small neurological tic due to distemper, which is noticeable when he is resting. He has received a comprehensive health protocol including spay/neuter, multiple vaccines, deworming, microchipping, and is up-to-date on monthly preventives.

Training & Support

Oscar is not house-trained and will require dedicated training and patience to learn. Owners should have experience with dog behavior and training or be prepared to hire a professional trainer. Understanding that rescued dogs may need an adjustment period is essential.

Transporation

Oscar is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our cross-country trip. Door-to-door delivery is available for a transport fee of $400 USD. Our transport process includes scheduled trips, a partnered transport company, all necessary legal documents, and real-time updates during the journey.
