Riley

Riley is an estimated 1-year-old, 43-pound bundle of joy who is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed! She was found as a stray and has been living with a kind foster family who has showered her with love while she awaits her forever home. Riley is a happy, full-of-life girl who is eager to please and loves to be by your side. She’s intelligent, playful, and has a goofy charm that will steal your heart. Her foster family lovingly describes her as confident and playful, with a curiosity that leads to the funniest moments, like hanging her tongue to the side reminiscent of Stimpy from Ren & Stimpy!

Ideal Home

Riley would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can run and play, or with an active family who will take her on adventures. She would also absolutely love to have another dog companion her size to play chase with! Due to her moderate-high energy level and playfulness, a home with older children would be best. She has not been tested with cats.

Ongoing Health

Riley is up-to-date on all vaccinations and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Riley is still learning to walk calmly on a leash and can sometimes pull when excited, but with patience, she'll master it in no time. She is already potty trained and crate trained, happily resting in her crate when her foster family is out and sleeping soundly in it at night. She is great about sharing her food, toys, and treats with other dogs and has shown no signs of resource guarding. She knows "sit" and "shake."
