All vetting is included in the adoption fee, which includes DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
Training & Support
Our team of dedicated animal care professionals works tirelessly to help each animal blossom. From the moment they join our program, they receive comprehensive behavioral and medical care, including proper vetting, training, and social enrichment. We provide socialization through playgroups and one-on-one bonding, where we also focus on skills like leash training and basic commands. We are looking for adopters who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but with patience and understanding, they will undoubtedly become wonderful companions.

Transportation
Hazelnut is currently located in Angleton, TX. Transportation is available to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH. Pick-up is at predetermined locations and times. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request, with the adopting family assuming financial responsibility. For those picking up in Angleton, TX, there is a $75 fee that includes all vetting.
