Meet Sprint! This resilient pup is learning what it means to be a beloved family pet. Despite a difficult start, Sprint is eager to learn and gaining confidence every day. She can be a little cautious when meeting new people and dogs, but she warms up quickly once she knows she's safe. Sprint has done well with older children and the neighbor's dog, and she absolutely loves playing with her foster sister. Her favorite activities include chasing tennis balls, tug-of-war, wrestling, and playing with other dogs. Sprint is quickly becoming a velcro dog and loves to be close to her people. She rides well in the car and is handling new experiences with growing confidence. Sprint is still learning some household skills like navigating stairs and hardwood floors, and she's working on her house training. She will thrive with a patient family who can continue to guide her. She's also learning that she doesn't have to compete for food and treats, and she's making great progress! Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown. Sprint may need a little time to settle in, but once she does, she's sure to be a loyal, affectionate companion with so much love to give.
