Meet Hamilton, a sweet and snuggly 5-year-old pittie boy who just wants to love and be loved. This handsome fellow came to us as a stray with a past he'd rather forget, but he's proven to be nothing but gentle, affectionate, and eager to please. Hamilton is a heart-stealer, winning over everyone with his hugs, kisses, and heart-melting smile. He's a low-energy, chill companion perfect for relaxing evenings, and his snores are sure to make you smile. While still discovering toys, he enjoys fetching, chewing, and carrying them around. Hamilton is a true velcro dog, happiest by your side, sharing all the love he has to offer. He's learned to play gently with his foster siblings, a senior chihuahua mix and a shepherd/pittie mix, and was sweet and gentle with a toddler, though a home with older children might be a better fit due to his enthusiastic hugs.
Ideal Home
Hamilton would thrive in a home that mirrors his calm and loving personality. He'd enjoy a homebody lifestyle and would be happy as an only pet, as long as he receives plenty of love, affection, and cuddles. A yard or a dog sibling would be a bonus. He would prefer a home with older children over toddlers.
Ongoing Health
Hamilton is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccines.
Training & Support
Hamilton is fully potty trained and has had no accidents in his foster home. He is leash-trained but is still working on reducing pulling during walks. He is not crate trained as he prefers to sleep in his own dog bed. He behaves well when left in the bathroom when his foster family is away.
