Meet Liv Livie! She's a delightful, low-riding bundle of joy estimated to be around 1 to 2 years old. We affectionately call her a "mystery mix," but we suspect she might have some Staffy and Basset Hound in her lineage. Her adorable short legs, long body, floppy ears, and ever-present smile are guaranteed to melt your heart. Liv is the perfect blend of happy, cuddly, and playful, and she has a special talent for making everyone around her smile. Her foster family describes her as a total lap dog who loves to be held, give kisses, and snuggle. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all shapes and sizes and enjoys a good game of "Catch Me If You Can." Liv is also a smart cookie, already crate-trained, potty-trained, and a quick learner, especially when treats are involved. When she's not showering you with affection, she loves to play with her toys, especially balls, and has a blast chasing water from the hose. Liv is looking for a family that will give her a little time to settle in and show them her incredibly affectionate, playful, and loyal personality.
Ideal Home
Liv would love a home with a yard where she can run, play fetch, and enjoy adventures. She has also done well on leash and might adapt to apartment living in the right environment. She has met dogs of all sizes and showed respect towards a cat, but a short overnight cat test is recommended for homes with resident cats.

Liv is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A surcharge of $87 applies for transportation.
