Hortense(Violet)

Meet Hortense! This sweet 9-month-old mixed-breed girl, weighing about 42 pounds, is a bundle of friendly curiosity and budding confidence. She arrived in Wisconsin in January and is patiently waiting for her forever family. Hortense is eager and engaging, but she's still learning the ropes of good manners and everyday routines, which is perfectly normal for a pup her age. She's crate trained and about 90% house-trained. While she's fostered with cats and gets along with other dogs and children of all ages, she does tend to bark at the cats. She's quite submissive to bigger dogs and is working on being gentle with smaller pups.
