Nyla

Nyla is a sweet, young Lab mix, approximately 1 year old as of July 2026, and weighs about 24 lbs. She's a resilient Sato from Puerto Rico who recently did an amazing job raising her litter of puppies. Now that her babies are all finding their forever homes, it's Nyla's turn for her own adventure! She's eager to explore the world with her new humans, enjoying sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all the fun life has to offer. In return for a loving home, Nyla promises endless love and loyalty.

Ideal Home

Nyla would thrive in a home that understands the transition challenges dogs from Puerto Rico can face. She would benefit from a family committed to socialization, ideally with another resident dog to show her the ropes, or with owners who can actively facilitate playdates, dog park visits, or doggie daycare.

Ongoing Health

Nyla is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been spayed. As with all dogs, ongoing health care and monitoring are recommended.

Training & Support

Nyla is currently working on crate training. While we cannot guarantee housebreaking, consistent training and positive reinforcement will help her adjust. Her commitment to socialization will be key to her success in a new environment.
