Ivy was born on March 11, 2025, and after being adopted at just 2 months old from a local Texas shelter, she found herself needing a new loving home through no fault of her own. She has been an absolute joy in her foster home and is now searching for the forever family she truly deserves.

Ivy is a happy, affectionate, and playful girl with so much love to give. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is playing fetch! If you have a tennis ball, you'll instantly become her best friend! She also loves playing with toys, going on walks, and spending quality time with her people.

Ideal Home

Ivy would thrive in a family that enjoys being active, playing, and including her in everyday life. She adores children and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is spayed, up to date on all of her vaccinations, and heartworm negative, making her ready to begin her next chapter.

Training & Support

Ivy is a smart girl who already knows commands like sit, lay down, come, no, go potty, and go to your kennel. She is potty trained and crate trained and does well with a routine. Ivy can be a little shy around men when she first meets them. She simply barks, scoots backward, and needs a little extra time to feel safe. With patience, kindness, and a few treats, she quickly warms up and becomes the sweetest, most loving companion. She is very food motivated and loves watermelon, cucumbers, apples, ice cubes, and just about any treat you have to offer.

Transporation

Ivy is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but she is available for adoption and transport to many areas across the country. Her $600 adoption fee includes transport. If you're seeing her profile, there's a good chance we have a transport stop near you!
