Pio is a 56-month-old, 35-pound sweetheart with the soul of an old friend. He was found abandoned along a busy highway in Puerto Rico, and tragically, some of his siblings were lost. Despite this difficult start, Pio's kind heart remained intact. He is an incredibly calm and gentle dog, content to simply be by your side, soaking up affection and quietly observing the world. Pio has a unique way of leaning into you for pets, as if making up for lost time. He has a soft, hopeful heart and asks for nothing more than a safe place to belong. Pio has navigated the hardest chapter of his life and is now ready for his happy ending, a family to love him, a cozy bed, and the promise of never being alone again. He will repay your kindness with a lifetime of quiet loyalty and unconditional love.
