Keke

Keke is a 9-year-old, 10lb bundle of silly, funny, happy, playful, and snuggly energy! She came to us from a hoarding situation and is still learning about the world, but she's blossoming in her foster home. Keke adores other dogs and, once she feels comfortable with you, loves nothing more than to nap on your lap. She's even happy to "help" with your yoga routine!

Ideal Home

Keke would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to play with and snuggle. She enjoys wrestling with dogs of all sizes and has a particular fondness for her current foster dog family, which includes a pit bull, a little dog, and a Great Pyrenees mix. A securely fenced yard is a must, allowing her easy access to the outdoors. She prefers a calm environment with infrequent visitors and needs a little time and space to adjust. She is not a fan of leashes or car rides.

Ongoing Health

Keke is in good health and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Keke is house-trained and reliably uses a doggy door. She's also comfortable in a crate, especially with a tasty treat like a peanut butter Kong. While she's learning to trust people, she needs patience and a gentle approach. She runs from leashes, so continued positive reinforcement around walks might be beneficial, but she does not wish to go on them.
