At almost 70 pounds of muscle and rolls, this squishy-faced guy is an absolute doll to be around – instant cuddles guaranteed. Walnut loves hanging out with other dogs and enjoys a good burst of playtime with his friends. Despite his tank-like build, he's just a big softie who wants to be close to his people and soak up all the love he can get. At just 4 years old, Walnut still has plenty of life, laughter, and loyalty to share with his future family. Ideal Home
Walnut loves to be close to his people and would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of cuddles and attention. He also enjoys the company of other dogs and playtime with his canine friends.
Ongoing Health
Walnut is up-to-date on his vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, and is on flea and heartworm prevention. He has also been spayed/neutered and microchipped.
Training & Support
Walnut is a rescue dog and, as with many rescues, may require continued training efforts. He has been socialized through playgroups and one-on-one bonding, and work has been done on leash training and basic commands. A family that is understanding and patient will help him continue on his journey to being the best dog he can be.

Transportation
Walnut is available for transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH. Transport is provided via air-conditioned buses or vans with onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You will be able to follow along on the journey through a private Facebook Event page. Our Adoption Coordinator will help find the closest transport pick-up location.
