Meet Infinity German Shorthaired Pointers. Small Hobby Kennel of Quality German Shorthaired Pointers located in Texas/New Mexico border. We have a passion for our dogs and we are committed to continue to learn and contribute to the betterment of this amazing breed. Our Vision is to produce German Shorthaired Pointers that are recognized internationally for type and function. Our Indicators of Quality are: Health, Conformation, Natural Hunting Abilities, and Behavior. All of our breeding dogs are health tested in accordance with the recommendations of the AKC Breed Parent Club for: Hip Evaluation, Elbow Evaluation, Ophthalmologist evaluation, Cardiac Exam, & Cone Degeneration DNA test. Our dogs participate in AKC Conformation events and achieve at a minimum a Championship title. Conformation is the official name for “dog shows.” While they may seem glamorous, the true purpose of conformation showing is to evaluate breeding stock. The dog’s conformation—his overall appearance and structure—is an indication of the dog’s ability to produce quality purebred puppies, and that is what is being judged in the ring. We evaluate our dog’s natural hunting abilities and training. Our dogs are well-mannered and we participate in the AKC's Canine Good Citizen program which is recognized as the gold standard for dog behavior. In CGC, dogs who pass the 10 step CGC test can earn a certificate and/or the official AKC CGC title. Most important We love and enjoy our dogs. All of them are family pets and are treated as such. Our dogs are very athletic and spend several hours a week running, hunting and swimming. They are great camping partners and great with our kids.
