Hello there! I'm JJ, a sweet and gentle soul with a heart as big as my gangly puppy frame. While my exact breed mix is a mystery, I'm a delightful blend of German Shepherd body, Pittie sweetness, and Vizsla charm. I arrived from New Mexico, but I've quickly learned to embrace the joys of cooler weather, even if it means a bit of snow and stick-chewing! I'm a smart girl who's learning the ropes and will let you know when I need to go outside. My kennel is cozy, but I do prefer being close to my people. With a fun chew toy like a Nylabone or Kong, I can happily settle in for a nap while you're away. It takes me a little time to warm up, but once I do, I shower you with the sweetest kisses! The larger, hairier humans can be a bit intimidating at first, but I'm learning to trust and love them just as much as the ladies of the house. The resident confident pup has been a wonderful role model, showing me that humans are pretty great! I dream of one day being a confident pup mentor myself. My favorite pastime is playing and romping outside – my zoomies are a sight to behold, and my happy high-stepping, horse-like prances are sure to bring a smile to your face. I'm a red brindle beauty eager to find my forever family and live my best life.
Ideal Home
A home where I can continue to build confidence and receive gentle guidance. I can be a little nervous around new, larger male figures, but I am learning to trust with positive experiences.

Training & Support
I am a work in progress and still learning to build confidence. Positive reinforcement and patience will go a long way. I am learning to communicate my needs and am getting better at settling down with engaging chew toys.
