Goldfish is a smart, affectionate boy that is equal parts fun and chill, with just the right balance of energy and sweetness. He is a big fan of playtime, especially a good game of tug-of-war with a sturdy rope toy. Toss him a tennis ball, frisbee, or any flying toy, and he's ready to run and fetch with enthusiasm. When he starts to get bored, he'll let you know with a little bark; it's his way of asking for a quick play session (usually just 10 minutes does the trick!).
While he loves to play, Goldfish also knows how to relax. Once he's comfortable with you, he becomes a sweet, affectionate companion who enjoys lounging nearby and napping by your side. He also loves other dogs and has lots of dog friends at the shelter!
Goldfish is terrific in the car – quiet, calm, and content to watch the world go by, making him a great adventure buddy. On leash, he can be a little hesitant at first as he takes in his surroundings, but once he feels comfortable, he settles into an easy walk.
