Baxter is a charming 6-year-old who brings a delightful dose of chaos and fun to any home! He's a true buddy dog, good with all people, including children, and has shown remarkable patience during veterinary visits, even during a three-day ER stay. Baxter has also acclimated well to feline friends and would love to share his life with cats. While he's made great strides with his reactivity towards other dogs and is comfortable passing them on leash, he would thrive best as the only canine companion in his forever home.

Ideal Home

Baxter is a "bull in a china shop" kind of guy and loves to chase butterflies! If you're seeking a peaceful and quiet environment, he might not be the best fit. However, if you're looking to add some exciting, fun chaos to your life, Baxter could be your perfect match! He can be a bit pushy, so an owner who isn't a "doormat" is ideal.

Ongoing Health

Baxter is up-to-date on all vaccinations and is neutered. He does snort and snore loudly, sounding like a "broken chainsaw," so if noisy breathing bothers you, please consider this before applying.

Training & Support

Baxter knows basic obedience, is crate trained, and house-trained. He has decent leash manners and a good recall when off-leash.
