Greta Van Fleet is a senior German Shepherd mix with a calm and observant nature. She's new to us, and we're still getting to know her, but our early impressions are very positive. Greta enjoys leisurely walks, taking her time to explore the world with her curious nose. She seems most comfortable with a handler by her side, carrying herself with the steady focus of a watchful shepherd. She responds well to gentle guidance on leash and adjusts her pace easily. Greta is treat-motivated and shows a warm, affectionate side once she feels comfortable, offering clear consent for pets, indicating she values respectful interaction. While she hasn't sought much eye contact yet, we believe this is due to the overwhelming shelter environment and not a reflection of her true personality. Greta is an appealing companion for someone who appreciates a calm, affectionate dog who enjoys shared walks and steady companionship.
