Earle is a charming and energetic pup who has been in foster care for two months, allowing us to get to know his unique personality. He is a loving companion who enjoys cuddling and showering his humans with kisses. Earle is also incredibly athletic and agile, with a natural talent for jumping and turning on a dime, making him a potential candidate for dog agility! He thrives in a home where he can run and play freely, enjoying his time in the yard with boundless energy. Earle is generally good with other dogs but is still learning to read their cues, sometimes mistaking a growl for an invitation to play. He is very motivated by treats and attention, which will be a great asset in his training journey. Earle is also a healthy eater and has learned to go to the door to signal when he needs to go outside, though he does wear a belly band at night when sleeping in bed, just in case. He enjoys sleeping near his people, either by their side or snuggled under the covers.
Ideal Home
Earle is looking for an active family who can provide him with plenty of playtime and attention to burn off his energy. He would not be a good fit for elderly individuals or apartment living due to his high energy levels and need for space. He also needs a home where he won't be left alone for extended periods as he experiences anxiety.
Ongoing Health
Earle is healthy and has had all necessary veterinary care, food, treats, toys, a blanket, bed, leash, and collar provided by his foster family.
Training & Support
Earle needs basic obedience classes to learn commands, although he is treat and attention-driven and comes when called. He also needs continued work on his anxiety when left alone and learning appropriate social cues with other dogs. His tendency to get underfoot means he requires a home without mobility issues.
