Meet Yuli!
Yuli is a spirited five-year-old Boxer mix with a heartwarming blend of devotion and goofy charm. He's a 90-pound sweetheart with a handsome brown brindle coat and white accents, affectionately nicknamed a "velvet hippo." Yuli is happiest when he's close to his humans, whether curling up beside you or trotting along with a toy. He thrives on routine and bonds deeply with his people.
Ideal Home
Yuli would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can safely explore, fetch, and sniff. He would do best as the only pet in the home. He is compatible with adults and older children (ages 10+) who understand the art of a gentle pat rather than a tight hug, as he is affectionate but doesn't love being grabbed.
Ongoing Health
Yuli has a chicken allergy and requires a chicken-free diet tailored to support his sensitive skin. Aside from this, he is a healthy, happy boy.
Training & Support
Yuli is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows commands like sit, stay, off, leave it, and spin. He has moderate energy and enjoys daily walks and fetch. Yuli can bark excitedly at new visitors until he feels comfortable; he does best with a calm introduction and a short decompression period. His one challenge is leash reactivity, and he would flourish with an experienced and patient pet parent committed to ongoing positive reinforcement and behavior support. He is a self-proclaimed Super Chewer and does best with durable nylon or rubber toys.

Transportation
