Bonzo is a sweet 2.5-month-old German Shepherd mix with a classic black and tan coat and a touch of white on his chest. He's a bit more reserved than his siblings at first, but with a little patience, he'll blossom into a soft, affectionate, and incredibly loving companion. Bonzo enjoys playing with his siblings and follows their lead, showing his adaptability and eagerness to learn. He's learning to gain confidence by observing the other dogs in his foster home, including a large German Shepherd. He's settling into a good routine with consistent feeding, play, kennel time, and sleeping through the night. What truly makes Bonzo special is his cuddly side; once he trusts you, he becomes a devoted snuggle bug who leans into affection. He may not be the first to greet you, but he'll be the one who stays close once he's earned your trust. Bonzo will need patience, consistency, and a gentle approach as he grows, but he'll repay it with quiet loyalty, sweetness, and a deep connection.

Ongoing Health
Bonzo is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. He has been microchipped and will receive a 12-month heartworm preventative injection.
Training & Support
Bonzo is being crate trained and is working on potty training and leash walking. He is also benefiting from socialization playgroups to help him stay confident and well-rounded.

Transport is available nationwide through our rescue-run USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
