Abandoned at just two months old, Aries was left in a box beside the shelter gates with her litter of eight. One did not survive, but the remaining seven have grown into gentle, resilient pups. Aries is one of the sweetest dogs. A soft, submissive girl who just needs patience, kindness, and a safe place to land. This mixed breed beauty is approximately 40 pounds and is a Shepherd - Labrador Mix. She has excellent leash skills and is a sweet, quiet, and gentle soul. Aries is great with people and dogs, and she loves water, just like her whole litter! She needs time to decompress and adjust to new environments and will thrive with someone patient, calm, and willing to help her build confidence. With love and steady guidance, Aries will blossom into the loyal, joyful companion she is meant to be. She is ready for someone who sees her gentle heart and wants to help it shine.

Transportation
Aries is located in Puerto Vallarta. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels during May and June, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable. We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border. This remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
