Rusty is a 4-year-old, 55-pound Retriever/Lab mix with a calm and gentle soul. He was at risk at a high-intake shelter due to overcrowding, but our rescue stepped in to give him the second chance he deserved. Now thriving in a foster home, Rusty is a friendly, affectionate companion who loves to snuggle on the couch. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys playtime, but he's equally happy relaxing by your side. Rusty is house-trained, crate-trained, and doesn't mind being brushed. His foster family describes him as an all-around wonderful boy, loyal and loving.

Ideal Home

Rusty lives happily with two other dogs and three teenage boys. He enjoys playing but is also content with quiet relaxation.

Ongoing Health

Rusty is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. He will receive a final veterinary health inspection before joining his forever family.

Training & Support

Rusty is house-trained and crate-trained. He enjoys lounging in his crate with the door open.
