Squiggy is a 6-week-old male Great Pyrenees puppy who arrived with his siblings. He's fluffy, curious, and playful, with a unique personality and an adorable heart-shaped marking on the end of his nose! Squiggy is a sweet, laid-back puppy who enjoys adventures and chilling out. He has done well in his foster home, showing he can ride in the car, sleep in his crate, dig in the sand, and swim with a life jacket. He loves his two foster canine siblings and all people he meets. Squiggy is learning to potty train and enjoys hard toys, though he also likes to snuggle with his "snuggle puppy."
Ideal Home
Squiggy would do best in a home with another dog, as he is very attached to his playful canine sibling. He needs a securely fenced yard, as Great Pyrs love to roam and patrol. He also requires a home where someone is present most of the time to provide consistent care and supervision for potty training. Homes with children must meet GRRAND's age requirements: no puppies under 6 months with families with children under 6 years old. Applicants with children under 16 must have direct access to a securely fenced yard (no apartments or condos). Apartments and condos may also be unsuitable for adult-only households due to potential puppy noise.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions are mentioned.
Training & Support
Squiggy is learning to potty train and is in a foster home that is working on this. As with all puppies, he will need consistent reinforcement and supervision for potty training and socialization. He has razor-sharp puppy teeth, so constant supervision is necessary, especially with children, to teach boundaries.
