Romeo

Romeo is a charming 4-year-old German Shepherd and Labrador mix, weighing around 55 lbs. This handsome boy has a short, black and light brown coat and is a bundle of playful, cheerful energy. He absolutely adores human contact and is incredibly affectionate and huggable. Romeo also enjoys his exercise and loves to run. He was rescued as a puppy with his sister, Julieta, after a frightening encounter where they were abandoned and mistreated. They were found to be malnourished and dehydrated, but thankfully, they are now safe and looking for their forever family. Romeo has lived with a devoted rescuer and other dogs, but due to circumstances, he is now seeking a stable, loving home where he can finally experience the warmth of a family he's never truly known.

Ideal Home

Romeo is sociable with people and other dogs and would likely enjoy a home where he can interact with his humans. He is playful and energetic, so an active household would be a great fit. He does bark at strangers, which is something to consider.

Ongoing Health

Romeo is spayed and vaccinated and has no known special needs.

Training & Support

Romeo is described as intelligent and affectionate, and he likes human contact. While he doesn't have experience with crates or cats, he is generally sociable. He is a barker when it comes to strangers, which might require some gentle redirection and training.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• You will be asked to fill out an adoption application form.
• Photos of your home will be requested.
• A video conference will be scheduled to meet you, see your home, and introduce Romeo.
• An adoption contract will be signed if the adoption is approved.
• An adoption fee will be finalized, which covers spaying/neutering, complete vaccinations, deworming, a month of flea and tick treatment, a health certificate, and an import certificate.
• A transport fee, ranging from $300-$350 USD depending on the delivery location, will be paid by the adopter.

Transportation

Romeo is currently located in Mexico and transport to the US is available for an additional fee paid by the adopter.
