Ziggy

Ziggy is a charming 4-year-old neutered male Miniature Pinscher mix with a heart full of love to give! He came to us with some challenges, which we now understand were due to the pain from a damaged leg. After surgery in January to remove the injured leg, Ziggy has blossomed into a completely different dog! He absolutely adores attention and, while he's not quite a lap dog yet, he loves to be close to his favorite people and will happily rest his paw on your foot. He's also a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and even chickens. We've introduced him to very well-mannered children, and he has done well with them.

Ideal Home

Ziggy thrives with companionship and enjoys being near his people. He can get a little nervous when he feels trapped and may offer a warning snark, so a home that can provide him with a sense of space and security would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Ziggy underwent surgery in January to remove an injured leg. He is now a happy tripod and doing wonderfully!

Training & Support

Ziggy is crate trained and mostly house-broken, though he may occasionally mark his territory. With a little patience and understanding, he's sure to settle in beautifully.
